Auto supplier Autoliv see margins rise as Q4 operating profit beats estimates (updated)

(Adds detail in paragraphs 2-3)
       STOCKHOLM, Jan 31 (Reuters) - Sweden's Autoliv ALV.N
said on Friday it expects margins to rise this year, after the
world's largest producer of airbags and seatbelts reported
fourth quarter adjusted operating profit slightly above analyst
expectations.
The firm said it expected its adjusted operating margin
to rise to a range between 10% and 10.5% in 2025 from the 9.7%
achieved in 2024.

Operating profit excluding items affecting comparability
in the fourth quarter grew to $349 million from $334 million a
year before. This was slightly above the company-provided
consensus which had on average forecast a profit of $340
million.
